Meet the team

The attorneys at the Law Office of Persun and Poole have decades of experience in fighting for your rights. 

Mark D. Persun, Esquire

Attorney
Attorney Persun grew up on a family farm in Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, so he knows the value of a hard days work. In 1974, he graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Pennsylvania State University with a B. S. in Political Science. In 1977, Attorney Persun graduated from the Dickinson School of Law and was admitted to practice law before the Pennsylvania Supreme Court the same year. After being admitted to the Bar, Attorney Persun gained valuable experience in oil and gas exploration and mineral rights while working for Amoco Production Company. Attorney Persun opened the Law Office of Mark Persun in 1984, to assist the hard-working residents of Somerset County.

Kenneth S. Poole, Esquire

Attorney
A Delaware native, Attorney Poole moved to Pennsylvania in 2017 to attend The Pennsylvania State University School of Law. While studying to become an attorney, he fell in love with the natural beauty of the Pennsylvania countryside. While still in law school, Attorney Poole began working at the Happy Valley Launchbox, a startup accelerator in Centre County. As a member of the Entrepreneurial Assistance Clinic, Attorney Poole helped passionate clients form corporations, LLC’s, and even non-profits. He also assisted established businesses with rental agreements, employment issues, and SaaS contracts. Attorney Poole began working at the Law Office of Mark Persun in May of 2020 and was admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar in January of 2021. He and his wife have three lovely children, two Bernese Mountain Dogs, and he enjoys kayaking in his spare time.
